Projects
While all the projects funded through SECC put considerable effort into disseminating their results, as part of the final phase of the programme the SECC Regional Board offered some additional financial support to a small number of successful projects, in order to develop activities that would support the dissemination and sustainability of work that was of proven value.
Examples of the activities that were funded included:
- Conferences and events
- Time to write up and publish the learning from the projects
- Policy work with local or national government
- Work within universities that would help to develop a supportive environment for community university partnership
- New forms of enterprise that would provide a foundation for future work
Nine projects were awarded small grants that enabled them to undertake a range of different activities. The dissemination project summaries (see links below) demonstrate both the diversity of the SECC programme and the imaginative ways in which projects were able communicate their learning and achievements:
